A 50% initial payment is required to secure your booking.
35% of the total hire cost is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
Bookings are honoured on a first come, first serve basis.
2. Payments
Full payment must be completed 4 weeks before the event date.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer or cheque only (no cash).
Bookings may be cancelled if payments are not completed as scheduled.
3. Security Deposit
Clients must pay a refundable caution fee of ₦100,000.
Decorators must pay a refundable ₦100,000 deposit before setup.
Vendors (excluding decorators and restricted categories) must pay ₦20,000 before setup.
Fireworks, shisha vendors, and shisha apparatus are strictly prohibited.
Deposits are refundable within 7 days after the event, subject to inspection.
Delayed evacuation of rental items attracts ₦10,000 per day surcharge.
Damages caused by vendors will be deducted from deposits or billed separately.
4. Technical Matters
Full event details (floor plan, extra provisions, etc.) must be emailed 1 week before the event.
Guest numbers are final. Extra guests attract ₦5,000 per guest.
Tables and chairs are provided and handled by Shasha staff—external furniture is not allowed.
Our staff may enter the venue at any time for supervision.
Shasha reserves the right to take event photographs for records/publicity.
Any damage to property must be fully paid for by the client.
5. Rights Reserved
Shasha may end an event early to protect life or property.
Management reserves the right to decline certain events.
Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in event cancellation.
6. Parking
All cars are parked at owners’ risk.
Public transport vehicles and motorcycles are not allowed unless requested at booking.
7. Maximum Capacities
Guest numbers must not exceed hall capacity. Extra guests may be excluded.
8. Caterers
Cooking and washing are only permitted in designated areas.
Caterers must clear leftover food and garbage immediately after the event.
Refund of deposits is subject to full clearance of all waste.
9. Decorators & Vendors
Setup is permitted from 12:00 AM on event day.
No additional drapings beyond those provided by Shasha.
Scaffolding/ladders must not be dragged across tiles.
Decorators must handle furniture/tablecloths with care.
DJs and bands must bring their own power supply.
Extra lighting beyond hall capacity requires independent power.
Damages or rule violations will lead to deductions from deposits.
10. Postponement & Cancellation
Postponement Fees:
1–14 days before event: ₦500,000 penalty.
15–28 days before event: ₦300,000 penalty.
29+ days before event: full credit applied to new date.
Cancellation Policy:
Only one postponement allowed without penalty.
Further postponements attract 35% charge of hire cost.
Refunds (after deducting 35% non-refundable fee) are only processed once the cancelled date is rebooked.
All cancellations/postponements must be in writing.
11. Security
Clients must provide a minimum of 4 security personnel.
Security must ensure full evacuation after the event.
Shasha is not liable for loss, damage, or injury during events.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hall.
12. Force Majeure
Shasha is not liable for failure to deliver services due to events beyond control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions). Immediate notice will be given in such cases.
